A drain snake punches a hole through a clog. Hydro jetting uses a high-pressure water jet to scour the entire inside of the pipe, cutting through grease, soap scum, mineral scale and fine tree roots and flushing it all down the line. It is the right tool for drains that keep clogging every few months, restaurant and commercial grease lines, and sewer lines with root intrusion. We usually start with a video sewer inspection, both to confirm jetting is safe for the pipe and to see what we are clearing. Older, cracked or collapsed pipe needs a different fix, such as trenchless sewer repair, and we will tell you before we jet.
